Guys,
I encountered a unique error when trying to run any report in AX 2012 R2
After entering the report parameters and running, I get an error message “No Such host is known”
No such host is known
I have deployed all reports without any errors, configured the Reports server but reports seem to have an error when generating data.
Please help with ideas.

Have you moved the databases to different location since initial deployment?
Yes, I changed databases at some point due to some AOS hitch but original txn db was blank, any leads on resolving this issue?
this has to do with the reportserver. Check the configurrationson sql server reporting services manager.
I identified the problem which was as a result in changing the AOS. The original AOS was uninstalled and replaced with a new one, but the old values remained in the registry. As a solution, we changed some values on the registry :
Root path: HKLM>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Dynamics>6.0>Configuration>Original(Installed configuration)
Check values set on aos32, dbserver, internet : change from original AOS to current
HKLM>SOFTWARE>Microsoft>Dynamics>6.0>Configuration>Original(Installed configuration)>setup properties
check values on aos32, clientaosserver: change from original aos to current
*Double click on item to edit/change value
From there we unistalled BI tools and re-installed and deployed reports.

You can also try redeploying the reports using the powershell option check this link for more details, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd309703.aspx it may take some time to complete (or you can test with one report and see if it solves the issue). This is handy if running multiple/alternate AOS’s.
